Hi everyone! I'm Christian, and if you're here, you probably share my love for plants—especially orchids.

My passion started with a simple curiosity for these exotic blooms, but over time, it grew into an obsession. I’ve experimented, learned, and, like many, lost a few along the way. Orchids have a way of teaching patience, and every flower that blooms feels like a small victory.

From Orchids to Terrariums: Creating the Perfect Space

Living in Lac Delage, Canada, comes with its own set of challenges for plant lovers. Winters are breathtaking, with snow-covered mountains and crisp, fresh air, but they’re also harsh. With power outages and dry indoor air, keeping tropical plants happy is no easy task.

That’s when I started exploring terrariums and mini-greenhouses—not just as a way to protect my orchids but as a way to truly showcase them. A well-designed terrarium creates the perfect microclimate, balancing humidity and airflow while adding an elegant touch to any space.

Soon, designing terrariums became as much a passion as growing orchids themselves. I started crafting my own, inspired by Victorian Wardian cases and mid-century aesthetics, blending function and design into something both practical and beautiful.

Hanami Botanic is not a big company—it’s just me, designing and handcrafting limited-edition terrariums, made for those who love orchids, tropical plants, and refined craftsmanship. My goal isn’t mass production, but to create something unique for fellow plant enthusiasts who want a controlled, beautiful space for their plants to thrive.
