About Hanami Botanic
Hanami Botanic was born from my passion for orchids, indoor plants, and design inspired by architecture.
For years, I have been growing orchids and closely observing their needs, their structure, and the way they occupy space. That passion naturally led me to terrariums, not only as containers for plants, but as thoughtfully designed objects that can truly showcase the beauty of plants.
My terrariums are not limited to orchids. They can also accommodate other plants suited to this type of environment. My goal is to create durable, precise, and visually distinctive structures that combine usefulness with quality craftsmanship.
My work is also influenced by my interest in architecture, especially historical and ornamental styles. Victorian architecture, among others, inspires me deeply through the richness of its details, the refinement of its lines, and its strong visual presence. That is why many of my terrariums feature shapes, cutwork, and engravings inspired by that world.
All of my terrariums are handmade by me in my workshop in Lac-Delage, Quebec. I use high-quality clear acrylic that allows me to achieve a high level of precision, finish, and customization.
