Large handcrafted terrarium inspired by the architecture of Hluboká Castle, designed for indoor plants, botanical displays, and collectors seeking a distinctive statement piece.
This terrarium is designed for indoor plants and decorative botanical arrangements.
Made from high-quality 4.5 mm transparent acrylic, it is designed for clarity, durability, and precision. Its structure is inspired by the Tudor-Gothic architecture of Hluboká Castle in the Czech Republic, with a strong architectural presence that sets it apart from smaller, more conventional terrariums.
This is one of the largest models in my collection and is intended as a true collector’s piece. It is available in three versions: with a pointed roof, a flat roof, or without a roof, depending on the desired look and use.
Each terrarium is developed from exclusive designs that I create myself, then precision-cut and hand-assembled in my workshop in Lac-Delage, Quebec. The parts are bonded using a specialized acrylic adhesive and reinforced with silicone seals to improve strength and help retain humidity.
Its larger format makes it suitable for orchids, ferns, mosses, tropical foliage, and other small to medium indoor plants that benefit from a more protected environment and a more spacious display.
Plants and accessories shown are not included.

FAQ
Have Questions About Our Victorian-style Terrarium? We're Here to Help.
Are tropical plants suitable for closed terrariums?
Yes, tropical plants thrive in closed terrariums due to the high humidity and stable temperatures, which mimic their natural environment.
Can you place pots in a terrarium without using a gravel base?
Yes, you can place pots directly in a terrarium, but using a gravel base helps with drainage and prevents excess water buildup, which can lead to root rot.
Can a terrarium survive without natural light?
Yes, a terrarium can survive with artificial light, such as grow lights, as long as it provides the right spectrum and intensity. However, natural light is often preferable for optimal plant growth.
What are the signs that it s time to water a terrarium?
Signs include dry or shrinking soil, wilting plants, or a noticeable lack of condensation on the walls in a closed terrarium. Check the soil and water when it feels dry to the touch.
Can carnivorous plants be grown in a terrarium?
Yes, carnivorous plants can thrive in terrariums, especially in humid, well-lit environments. However, they often prefer open terrariums for better airflow and to avoid excess moisture buildup. We recommend opening the rear roof panel of our terrarium to increase air circulation and maintain a healthier environment for these plants.
Absolutely beyond my expectations.
Honestly, I’ve never seen anything so beautiful. It’s like a little crystal house. I placed the Huboka terrarium in my living room near the window, and it just lights up the whole space. You can feel right away that Christian is truly passionate about his work, the craftsmanship is incredible. I’m really happy I found this little gem.
